When a private client approached us to design and build a barrel-shaped sauna for their luxury retreat, we saw it as an opportunity to take outdoor sauna design to a whole new level.

Using the finest western red cedar, our inhouse team of master joiners created a sauna like no other. Reminiscent of a traditional whiskey barrel, the cedar’s subtle nuances in colour create a visually stunning and immersive design, inviting visitors to lose themselves in scandic luxury. Inside, the design maximises space with the use of vertical wood paneling, giving depth and intimacy to the entire sauna experience.

The feedback was so positive that our client’s celebrity guests took it to the exclusive grounds of Camp Kerala at Glastonbury Festival. We’ve heard that Dolly Parton was particularly taken with it!
