Iceland’s Deplar Farm is one of a handful of worldwide, uber-luxury retreats from adventure travel company, Eleven Experience. They tasked us with building an outdoor, geothermic ‘Viking’ pool from which guests can view the Northern lights in unrivalled luxury.

The timescales where unusually tight. The concrete pool needed to be completed, at short notice, within six weeks to coincide with their launch party. With many years’ experience in concrete design and building skate bowls around the world, we knew we could bring the project to life swiftly, creatively, and to the highest industry standards.

To stay true to Eleven Experience’s exclusive reputation, the pool needed to be ultra high-end whilst blending seamlessly into the natural environment. Set against a backdrop of snow covered mountains and a huge sky, we created a sympathetic, immersive design that curves gracefully into its surroundings.

Filled with pure and natural spring water harvested from the nearby valley and heated geothermally, it’s no surprise the pool has since been featured in the international press, including The Times.
